His passion for physical performance has continued through endurance challenges, marathon running and Ironman training.

Throughout his career, Daniel has held coaching and leadership positions within the fitness industry, including Personal Training Supervisor and Strength & Conditioning Coach. He has also worked closely with competitive swimming clubs, developing young athletes through structured physical preparation, strength development and injury prevention on National Swim England camps.

Rule One Health & Fitness was founded on Daniel's belief that high-quality coaching should be accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford traditional one-to-one personal training.

Combining evidence-based programming with a welcoming, community-driven environment, Daniel's vision is to bridge the gap between conventional gym memberships and premium personal coaching.

Whether someone is stepping into a gym for the first time, returning from injury, looking to improve their health or striving for greater athletic performance, Daniel believes that everyone deserves the guidance, structure and support to progress.

Look Better. Move Better. Perform Better.

The Rule One philosophy

Rule One: No Limits

Richard Stewart, Co-Founder at Rule One Health & Fitness

Co-Founder, Rule One Health & Fitness

Richard Stewart

From client to founder, Richard's journey is at the heart of everything Rule One stands for.

Having built and successfully run his own business, Rule One Scaffolding, Richard understands the value of hard work, discipline and resilience. But it was his own journey back into fitness that sparked something much bigger.

Through training, Richard rediscovered his confidence, rebuilt his physical and mental resilience, and found a renewed sense of purpose. What started as a personal commitment to improving himself became the inspiration to create something that could help others do the same.

Richard's connection with co-founder Daniel goes back over 15 years, when he was Daniel's Under-8s football coach. Now, their paths have come full circle, bringing them together once again, this time as business partners with a shared vision.

Together, they've built Rule One on the belief that fitness is about more than physical transformation. It's about building confidence, overcoming challenges, creating meaningful connections and becoming the best version of yourself.

Richard brings his entrepreneurial experience, personal transformation and genuine passion for people to Rule One, helping create a welcoming community where everyone, regardless of age, ability or starting point, feels they belong.

From coach to client, from client to founder. Fifteen years later, one shared vision.
